Victoria Addison
Counsellor
Hello and welcome to Risely Stables. I am Victoria, counsellor and equine assisted therapist. I studied for my qualification in Melbourne and hold therapy and counselling sessions in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. I have many years of experience working with people and horses. I specialise in working with children and adolescents particularly with autism spectrum disorders and ADHD. I love to see the connection between horses and people and how immensely horses can help a person's emotional and physical wellbeing.

About Victoria
Horses
Indie is used as a therapy horse in counselling sessions at Risely Stables. This mare was rescued in 2023 and is our youngest member of the herd. Indie has a curious and bubbly personality and loves life! Indie connects with peoples nervous systems and is great at feeling and reading emotions and assisting in sessions.
Biscuit is the herd's head mare. Biscuit mainly works in the arena and loves her free time in the paddock with friends.This mare is food driven and can't resist any carrots.
Tinkerbelle is the princess of our property. Tinkerbelle is used in our counselling sessions and assists in reflecting emotions to our clients. This mare is soft, curious and interactive. She particularly likes younger children and rolling in the warm arena sand.
Jordan is our long-term herd member. Jordie was born on the Risely Stables property and is the herd leader. He loves to keep his herd together and safe. This gelding has a soft heart and lots of patience which is perfect for our Risely Stables clients.
